Carbon-based material has grabbed many attractions during the material development process. Carbon materials have various types, such as CNT (carbon nanotube), graphite and C₆₀, etc. And it is very important to measure the ionization potential of those materials. However, conventional measurement (UPS^※1) can only be used under the vacuum environment so that the carbon powder is not suitable for those methods.
